Vehicle Mechanics

Key Facts

  • No fuel required: All vehicles run indefinitely
  • Indestructible: Vehicles cannot be damaged by collisions or weapons
  • Occupant protection: Players and cargo inside are immune to damage
  • Only customization: Paint color (opposite auto shop, $100)
  • Mobile safe house: Police rarely check vehicles. Parking and sitting inside reduces wanted levels

Vehicle Recommendations by Stage

Early Game (Street Rat to Hustler)

Best Choice: Shitbox ($5,000)

  • Cheapest option
  • 5 trunk slots sufficient for early deliveries
  • Faster and safer than skateboards
  • Upgrade to Veeper as soon as possible

Mid Game (Hustler to Enforcer)

Best Choice: Veeper ($9,000)

  • 16 trunk slots = 2 inventory bars of cargo space
  • 86 km/h top speed (second fastest)
  • Can sell items directly from the vehicle
  • Perfect balance of price, capacity, and speed
  • The community consensus #1 vehicle

Late Game (Enforcer to Block Boss)

Best Choice: Veeper or Dinkler

  • Veeper remains excellent for general use
  • Dinkler ($15,000) offers 8 slots with 77 km/h speed if you want a middle-ground upgrade
  • Hounddog ($25,000) is a vanity purchase for speed lovers

Endgame (Block Boss+)

Best Choice: Cheetah ($40,000)

  • 93 km/h top speed
  • Fastest 0-60 acceleration (2.5s)
  • Only 4 trunk slots, but at this stage you have properties everywhere
  • Pure luxury and speed for the crime lord lifestyle

Skateboard Alternative

Before buying a car, the skateboard is your best mobility option:

  • Location: Shred Shack (northeast of the motel)
  • Price: $75-$1,500 (Golden Skateboard)
  • Usage: Hold left-click while equipped to ride
  • Pros: Cheap, faster than running, no fuel
  • Cons: Takes an inventory slot, no storage, can't carry much cargo

Recommendation: Buy the cheapest skateboard ($75) immediately, then save for a Veeper.

Vehicle as Evasion Tool

Wanted Level Reduction

Sitting in a parked vehicle causes the wanted bar to decrease. Police almost never check vehicle interiors. This makes your car the ultimate mobile safe house.

Best Parking Spots for Evasion

  • Northtown parking lots: Low police patrol density
  • Behind your properties: Quick access to production
  • Casino parking: Blend in with civilian vehicles (4pm-4am only)
  • Docks industrial areas: Few police patrols, plenty of hiding spots

Vehicle Money Laundering Note

Critical: Vehicle purchases require online balance (clean, laundered money). You cannot use cash from drug sales. This means:

  • Set up money laundering operations early (Laundromat, Car Wash, Post Office)
  • Keep track of your clean vs. dirty money
  • Don't plan vehicle purchases until you have sufficient online balance

Flying Exploit (Non-Official)

The Anti-Gravity drug mix (Granddaddy Purple + Energy Drink + Acetaminophen) provides:

  • Anti-Gravity effect
  • Athletic effect
  • Sneaky effect

Combined with a skateboard, this allows rooftop access and limited aerial gliding (exploit). Useful for escaping police or reaching otherwise inaccessible areas.

Vehicle Purchase Priority

Priority Vehicle When to Buy
1 Skateboard ($75) Immediately
2 Veeper ($9,000) As soon as you have online balance
3 Cheetah ($40,000) Endgame luxury
4 Others Only if you specifically want them

The Veeper is the undisputed champion of Schedule I vehicles. It offers the best combination of capacity, speed, and price. Buy it early, use it always, and never look back.
