Schedule I Territory Control Guide: Unlocking All Regions

Hyland Point is divided into six distinct regions, each offering unique customers, properties, and opportunities. Understanding how to unlock and control each territory is essential for building your criminal empire.

Region Overview

Region Unlock Rank Key Features Customer Tier
Northtown Starting area Tutorial zone, basic properties Low
Westville Hoodlum First expansion, mid-tier properties Low-Medium
Downtown Hustler Casino access, better vendors Medium
Docks Enforcer High-value properties, warehouses Medium-High
Suburbia Block Boss Luxury properties, high-end customers High
Uptown Baron Endgame zone, final properties Highest

Rank Progression System

Schedule I features 65+ ranks from Street Rat to crime lord. XP is gained through:

  • Completing deals personally: 20 XP each
  • Curfew sales (10pm-4am): Bonus XP
  • Escaping wanted levels: 20-60 XP depending on severity
  • Killing cops: 20 XP each
  • Trimming plants: 10 XP
  • Pickpocketing: 5 XP

Important: XP only counts for money earned before sleeping. You must sleep to level up.

Northtown: Starting Zone

Properties

  • Motel Room ($75): Starting base, 0 employees, tiny
  • Sweatshop ($800): First real property, 1 employee capacity
  • Storage Unit ($4,000): 3 employees, 1 loading bay

Key Vendors

  • Dan's Hardware: Tools, tents, lights, basic equipment
  • Stan's Shop: Weapons (baseball bat, frying pan, machete)
  • Hyland Auto: Vehicle purchase (requires clean money)
  • Shred Shack: Skateboards for early mobility

Strategy

Focus on completing the tutorial, buying the Sweatshop, and establishing basic production. Don't rush to expand—master Northtown first.

Westville: First Expansion

Unlocked at: Hoodlum Rank

New Properties

  • Bungalow ($6,000): 398 tiles, 5 employees, 1 loading bay
  • Best early-game property for scaling production

New Features

  • Access to Molly Presley (dealer)
  • Better customer pool with higher budgets
  • More territory to evade police

Strategy

Buy the Bungalow as soon as you can afford it. This is your mid-game headquarters. Set up 2-3 Botanists and 1 Handler for automation.

Downtown: The Casino Era

Unlocked at: Hustler Rank

Key Features

  • Casino: Open 4pm-4am, slot machines ($100 bets, $10,000 jackpot)
  • Access to AC Unit ($1,800) for temperature control
  • Mixing Station ($500) unlocked at Hoodlum V
  • Mixing Station Mk2 ($2,000) unlocked at Peddler II

New Properties

  • Commercial properties available for money laundering
  • Post Office ($10,000), Taco Ticklers ($50,000)

Strategy

The Casino is high-risk, high-reward. Only gamble with money you can afford to lose. Prioritize buying the AC Unit for your production facilities.

Docks: Industrial Powerhouse

Unlocked at: Enforcer Rank

Key Features

  • Docks Warehouse ($50,000): 1,429 tiles, 12 employees, 2 loading bays
  • Best property for large-scale operations
  • Access to Salvador Moreno (coca seeds for cocaine production)

New Vendor

  • Jane Lucero: Dealer for the Docks region

Strategy

The Docks Warehouse is your late-game production facility. With 12 employees and 2 loading bays, you can run massive automated operations. Save up for this property.

Suburbia: Luxury Living

Unlocked at: Block Boss Rank

Key Features

  • Hyland Manor ($250,000): The ultimate property, 1,753 tiles, 12 employees, 3 loading bays
  • Requires completing the "Finishing the Job" quest
  • Wei Long (dealer) available

Strategy

Hyland Manor is the endgame property. You won't afford it immediately, but it should be your long-term savings goal. Its 3 loading bays make distribution incredibly efficient.

Uptown: The Final Frontier

Unlocked at: Baron Rank

Key Features

  • Final region in the current Early Access build
  • Leo Rivers (dealer) available
  • Triggers the Cartel conflict storyline
  • Leads to the endgame "Finishing the Job" quest

The Cartel Conflict

Choosing to fight the cartel unlocks Uptown and triggers the final questline. This involves:

  1. Giving Billy 20 mid-quality cocaine for RDX
  2. Paying Sam $10,000 for tunnel digging
  3. Helping Stan kill a stranger at night in the Docks
  4. Installing the bomb in the tunnel to destroy the manor

Territory Control Strategy

Early Game (Street Rat to Hoodlum)

  • Focus on Northtown only
  • Master the basic loop: produce → sell → upgrade
  • Don't expand too fast

Mid Game (Hustler to Enforcer)

  • Expand to Westville and Downtown
  • Establish automated production with employees
  • Start using dealers for remote sales

Late Game (Block Boss to Baron)

  • Control Docks and Suburbia
  • Run multiple properties simultaneously
  • Maximize automation with full employee teams

Endgame (Baron+)

  • Own all properties including Hyland Manor
  • Complete the Cartel questline
  • Achieve the $10,000,000 Magnate achievement

Multi-Territory Operations

With multiple properties, you can:

  • Run different production lines in different buildings
  • Diversify your product portfolio
  • Use properties as safe houses when evading police
  • Scale employee count across all facilities

Employee Count by Property:

  • Motel Room: 0
  • Sweatshop: 1
  • Storage Unit: 3
  • Bungalow: 5
  • Barn: 10
  • Docks Warehouse: 12
  • Hyland Manor: 12

Regional Police Differences

As you progress to higher regions, police presence increases:

  • Northtown/Westville: Basic patrols, minimal checkpoints
  • Downtown: More frequent patrols, first checkpoints with barriers
  • Docks/Suburbia: Police SUVs, heavy checkpoints
  • Uptown: Maximum police presence, aggressive response

Plan your operations accordingly. Higher-risk territories require better escape routes and more careful planning.

Mastering territory control in Schedule I is the foundation of empire building. Unlock each region, understand its unique opportunities, and scale your operations as you climb the ranks.
