R.E.P.O. Level Progression Guide: Goals & Extraction Strategy

Understanding how level progression works in R.E.P.O. is essential for maximizing your earnings and minimizing risk. Each level increases the complexity, monster count, and valuable requirements, but also offers greater rewards.

Extraction Point Multipliers by Level

Level Extraction Points Multiplier Max Valuable Value
1 1 3.57x $35K
2-3 2 2.38-2.37x $47-112K
4-5 2-3 2.35-2.32x $80-97K
6-10 2-4 2.27-2.04x $113-180K
11-20+ 4-5 1.96-1.43x $187-250K

Key Insight: Higher levels have lower multipliers but significantly higher maximum valuable values. A single Dragon Skull or Troll Finger at level 20 can be worth $45,000-$50,000.

Valuable Spawn Patterns

Level Tiny Small Medium Big+
1-2 15 10 2 0
3-5 11-13 4-6 3-7 1-3
6-10 5-9 8-10 10-15 -
11+ 3-10 3-10 3-10 varies

Total items never exceed 50 per level. At higher levels, smaller items are replaced with more valuable medium and large items.

Early Game (Levels 1-5)

Focus on learning monster behaviors and map layouts. Prioritize tiny and small valuables. The extraction goal is low enough that you don't need big items. Shop priority: Health Upgrade, Stamina Upgrade, Tumble Launch.

Mid Game (Levels 6-10)

Monster density significantly increases. Team coordination becomes essential. Assign roles: scout, fighter, transporter. Wide and Tall items start appearing—these require careful navigation and teamwork. Pre-position valuables near extraction points before activating them.

Late Game (Levels 11+)

Monster count reaches 3-4 of each danger level with 0 idle time, meaning monsters are always active. Speed and stealth become more important than combat. The final extraction warning: once completed, ALL monster respawn timers drop to 1 second—have a clear path back to the truck.

Speedrunning Tips

Focus only on the highest value items per level. Skip low-value items unless directly on your path. Use the Scout vehicle to quickly transport items. In teams, have one player dedicated to activating extraction points while others transport valuables.

Understanding these level mechanics will help you progress efficiently and maximize earnings per run.
